I’m impressed by how the depth indicator remains accurate across devices. I have always struggled to get consistency out of CSS. Perhaps my own fault.

I’m amazed that anything biological can live 10km deep. What’s the trick to not having anything meaningfully organic get squished into a paste?

I’m also unsurprised by how “weird” stuff gets the deeper you go. But I’m very surprised by how there’s a few “normal” looking sharks super deep.

Inner cell pressure == outer cell pressure


also, they often don't fare well (ie die quickly) when taken to shallow water / out of water into our puny atmosphere with almost vacuum pressure in comparison.
