The PiKVM project is the biggest slap in the face to all the enterprise hardware vendors and I absolutely love it!
All the commercially available KVMs that I've used are complete garbage and truly unreasonably expensive. Some that are still in production today still use Java applets, browser add-ins and end up performing far worse than this (and have fewer features).
Meanwhile PiKVM is better in every regard, waay cheaper and fully open. Besides the end product and KVM software, I also really appreciate the uStreamer project that I believe was developed specifically for PiKVM, but can be used as a general MJPEGStreamer alternative that has insanely lower latency and better performance.
