It means nothing that it will be released in a month. Because new software goes into unstable first, then is promoted to testing and only then to stable. So even if the next LTS release would have been released a month ago, it certainly wouldn't have made it into debian stable.

I think it’s rather Docker, Alpine, JDK 17 and jlink than waiting till 2023 :)
