It checks all those boxes and supports s3 or another Synology for remote backups with hyperbackup. You'll pay a premium over rolling your own but overall they're pretty darn stable.

Not to mention they keep updating older hardware for a long time. My parents have my old DS212j (2011) and it still gets updates.
