I've been thinking about this in relation to what Space X's Starship could mean for the future if it lives up to the promises.

Yes, there are opportunities for putting satellites into orbit at a discount. But what comes next? Tourism? Mining? Manufacturing?


The next thing is building a full-blown civilization on Mars.

That's why Elon Musk wants to get so rich. You need like $1 trillion to build a sustainable city on Mars.

Rich people would pay $10m+ to go to Mars. It's a once in a lifetime ride.
