One thing I can say for certain: Mechanical keyboards are much more comfortable to type on. I feel like even a 10% increase in comfortableness for something you use every day for just $100 is totally worth it! If you do any amount of typing I really recommend it!

Sorry! I used a membrane keyboard! I don't use laptops much but whenever I do its super uncomfortable! Thats more of the position rather than the keys though.
