If you're referring to .NET native, I dont think it's considered industry reliable.



Not only, there are others to chose from, and regarding .NET Native is reliable enough to build an whole business on top of it, Windows Store, upcoming Windows 10X, and the late Windows Phone definitely did not fail due to it.


Then why is the rest of the C# world using traditional CLR?


For the same reason plenty of people here are completely unaware of what Java and .NET are fully capable of.

Many just learn the minimum to deliver something.
