For me all the old accents feels similar, so it reminds me of some Louis-de-Funès movies.

My grand-parents still today have a similar way of speaking as well. It is not only the accent, but also the pace and vocabulary.

Also, nowadays everybody is speaking casual French, but formal French was actually a thing in the past ;)
