I agree with the author that it is strange how OnlyFans has been totally ignored by the tech industry. We soon write 2021, but still any business connected to sex is met with moral condemnation and resistance. The question of for how long OnlyFans will be "run by the content providers themselves" and not overtaken by pimps and an organised exploitative porn industry, remains of course. Maybe the risk of this is connected to the morally restrained media- and tech industry
Even in a completely secular sense people are ashamed, in part, about porn because it is addictive. Just like talking about drug addiction. And extremely distracting to one's purpose and mission. And from a Hindu religious perspective, it invites asuras, i.e. energy that goes against your purpose (Dharma) in life.
