Absolutely. Depending if 4GB RAM is sufficient for you (ZFS can get really memory hungry depending on configuration).



FreeNAS not so much, needs x86, this board is ARM...


Should have specified I was referring to xigmanas (former nas4free). The specs, specifically the RAM, might not be enough to make a it a good idea, though.

I might be wrong, but I don't see why one wouldn't be able to build freenas for arm (all the included software should be arm64-compatible), it's just that so far no one took the time to do so and share it.
