Every Michigan State student learns about the Beal experiment. Beal garden is right next to the library so every student has walked through it, especially in he Spring when all the plants are in bloom. I've actually attended weddings held in the garden.

Beal's is not the only continuing scientific experiment to l last nearly a century beyond his death. There's also one that looks at bacteria that has been running for decades.
