Everyone in this thread seems to be saying Pratt and PEG matter most, which I don't see in that book. Any recs on that front? (Or do you think they're not important?)
I recommend becoming familiar with the theory and making the decision for yourself.
My personal preference is pretty much the same as Tratt's, except I never had an aversion to LR grammars to begin with. I always found them intuitive. I had used them before understanding the theory.
