My main need is cloudless iPhone/iPad backup and access to photos. It seems that libimobiledevice is the most common approach. The libimobiledevice homepage news[1] hasn't been updated in 3 years, but the GitHub[2] seems reasonably active. Has anyone here had good or bad experiences with libimobiledevice or some other option that does not require jailbreaking?
