Yeah, but they also describe $100k as a 'not great' salary.

Good luck ever earning that much in the UK, let alone a few years after graduating.

I think Americans don't realise just how much richer the USA is than most of the world, including Western Europe.

London maybe - not wildly unrealistic for most other bits of the UK though.
