We are a non bank that may have a use case to track account balances and transactions and are looking for a backend system to support (the front end entirely on our side).

Even though most features of a core banking system (interest, loans, tellers, UI etc) wont be used, ledgers are complex and id like to avoid reinventing the wheel.

I spotted FINERACT which is incubated by the apache foundation. Does anyone have any experience with it or similar tools?
