I don't disagree exactly, but cannot help but think focus and all that is requisite to successfully avoiding sawing off your thumb, and so forth.

My dad was a carpenter, and I always went out of my way to not distract or surprise him when he was working with power tools.

Besides, a lot of carpentry requires planning and precision, and there is no undo button...
