Ask HN: How did you transition from Mac to Linux?
I was turned off of these due to the reported coil whine[0], any owners know if the newest batches still have that issue?

none for me on the 2018 model. Pretty much love it. I did have the older one 2 models ago, which did have the whine, but I bought it at a discount because of that.
