The crazy thing about garlic is that the harsh flavor disappears quickly with cooking and leaves only a mushy sweetness.

I tried this out recently and it was delicious and not at all what you would think if you're only familiar with raw garlic:

Wrap a head of garlic in aluminum foil and stick in the oven for a while and I'll eat it by itself (or maybe spread on bread with a dash of salt).

Garlic is delicious.
