How did you manage to do this. I switched to freeotp for this reason but am unable to make a backup following online instructions. Do I need to have my device rooted?
Switch to andOTP, I did it last night and it's much better than FreeOTP (maintained, more features, supports backups natively). You can even migrate easily from FreeOTP using this short script I wrote:
