Yeah, I wonder when will we have a hurricane sized wind generator (with a huge set of batteries or other storage facility)

Not just that you can't predict where the hurricanes will go, you can't really have a pop-up generator to extract power from a hurricane can you.

It is a bit extracting power from lightning strikes, it isn't going to be a good return on investment.

But hurricanes are big and affect a large area (you might be thinking of Tornadoes)

Not easy, but maybe doable
