please don't inject noise.

Well this is my opinion on the linked webpage, which I agree with you is worthless in this form, so here is a hopefully more interesting one: this is a set of arbitrary rules, some are basic and would be only of interest for beginners, some (a lot) are outdated and "nobody" does that anymore for the stated reason, and if the stated reason is applicable anymore because use of a too old compiler it is not very interesting in such an article because the compiler would yield an error, some info are blatantly wrong ("vector is the only container that is backward-compatible to native C code" <- has no meaning, "this means that vector actually IS the array, but with some additional features" <- just plain false).

Let's not talk about "#define all(c) c.begin(), c.end() " because that would in this age makes me wish the death of somebody.

The author also understand only half of iterators and templates, just enough to give some fucked code samples.

This page should really be deleted and replaced by a link to an already existing serious and reviewed source about at least C++11.

So yeah, this is full of shit. Don't read this page. Especially if you think you are learning from it, because you are then learning shit that you will need to unlearn. This page is noise, so in my defense the noise was already there.

Agreed!
