I wouldn't be surprised if they sold this at breakeven or a slight loss in order to try and get some market share back for their phones.

there are other really great headsets you can buy that would work. For example I bought a freeflyvr

. Really works well, but do your own research. There are a lot of factors like FOV, adjustable lens and size. etc.
