I started reading and listening to Jason Fung’s explanation of body internal system [1].
What actually influences weight is hormonal cycles. I am experiencing positive results so far, working on this explanation.
Take steps to reduce not only amount of insulin presence in blood stream, but reduce its sustained presence. Reduce visceral fat.
The problem is solved by mix of correct nutrition, moderate physical lifestyle and intermittent fasting. Never by “dieting” or sustained calorific deficit.
Fasting should not be primarily thought of as reducing calories. Rather as creating longer gap inside body without insulin running though blood stream and toggling body to use fat as metabolism source.
Weight loss (from fat reduction, not muscle) is secondary benefit.
The only way those interventions work though is because their net result is less calories consumed versus expended. It's cool if that works for you, but if you've lost weight you very much have sustained a caloric deficit.
Do you know if plain davinci-003 can continue long programming answers? I was using Chat to rewrite python scripts. It was it able to handle longish scripts easily by asking it to "continue", or simply "go on", if it ran out of room. But now they have blocked that ability since the Jan 30 update. It is quite a bit more painful now to have to break scripts up into chunks.
As far as I've seen, yes, GPT's output is quite long, and it could take anything I threw at it. If you try for your specific inputs, please let me know, I'm interested.
This is a very helpful use case, specially for leaders who really want to bypass oddness and get unfiltered feedback.
Such a feedback is the only way to stay in reality.
I am not sure why you made it (or started with) SMS. Why not simply use web app?
Thank you! We tested several ways of sending but the highest response rates and the most candid data came back via SMS.
On response rates, it's around 20% more responses via SMS than email or chat apps. This is the same for marketing delivered via SMS - the percentage is lower but compared to email, etc. it's relatively high.
In terms of the data quality - we think it's because SMS is not a "company owned" platform that could keep logs, etc. Maybe it feels safer for the end user so they're more honest.
Also, the interaction is fast and fun. We get responses initially via emoji and within the text comment you can hashtag and mention other staff. We're working on MMS support so people can send photos too. It's not globally supported but it works in the US at the moment.
To the comments here on pricing. It can be largely ignored.
I strongly expect OpenAI understands that high cost is barrier to true, widespread, productive adoption in real world. ChatGPT successors will see cost optimisation as key.
By the time, world moves from exploration phase to productive one, a “production ready“ ChatGPT will be out with saner cost base.
