Well, that's just against traditions.

And that's totally fine :)

Nice that you discovered LLM, welcome.

But next time, keep your findings for a thread related to the topic of LLM wonders, not when it's unrelated, such as chopsticks.

Sheeet, seen quite a few people do it (not sure if Japanese or another culture) and just ingrained it as proper (just like slurping is in Japan). Gotta rethink that, lol.

How is it underrated when it is heavily used for literally anything, even when it makes no sense to be used?

I'd say it is actually overrated.

P.S. This running on your browser doesn't change its computational needs of the work done locally on your side. So, if it runs, either you have a beefy GPU or it doesn't actually need one.

I imagine this comment being satirical but, given the audience, also not.

It is not and let's not be silly now.

I'm surprised this article made you realise this now.

I don't get what you meant with this comment.

the data updates every 5 minutes, but the description on huggingface says the last update was 2 days ago.

they are suggesting that the huggingface description should be automatically updating the date & item count when the data gets updated.

No that is the date at which the bulk archive ends and the 5 minute update files begin, so it should not be updated.

I really thought the article was about personal websites like in the 90s, not bringing up hair salons as an example.

A hair salon needs a presence on Google maps with a bunch of reviews and their rates and that's it. Sure they don't own it but until that works it works.

To make it easier for you, this is the third sentence in TFA:

> But still, please, if you are a business or an individual artist or creator, have a fucking website.
