Trademarks are protected to prevent fraud and impersonation of other companies. So we don't want to accidentally mistake a e.g. gougle product as a google one. That was the very legal intention of trademark laws.

In the case of postwoman, it's kind of hard to imagine anyone would mistake it for postman. So it's unlikely postman would win a lawsuit against it.

Lessons:

1. Use pseudo name (nickname) for shipping, instead of full name

2. Use company address instead of home one whenever possible

Just think about how many people have to access your shipping data just to deliver an order to you, the online shop, the shipping company, the warehouse, the delivery guy.

It kind of hard to imagine all of them would have perfect bank-level security.

Most people don't treat their address as sensitive information.

Many publicly accessible government records have address information.

Post office boxes exist for this reason.

I just realized the url and title for this entry changed..

Trying to, means they are currently not.

Without a doubt, the executive structure of Huawei is opaque to any outsider and up for speculation. However, it should be easy to verify that Huawei does distribute its wealth to its employee and it does not share its profit to the state. So there is financial interest for the employees, at least. In any case, the company may choose to things that benefit the state, but that does not mean it doesn't benefit the company.
