Kevin Hartz is the most desirable angel in the valley IMO. His advice and generosity with his time is unparalleled.

This is my favorite type of hacker news content. Something really cool that I never would have stumbled upon myself.

I'm really surprised how built-up Gaul and Germany are here

If you like interesting and the occasional link fest rabbit-hole, have you seen metafilter?

And as I suspected, this was seen on Metafilter 11/6, the day before:

To me, Nationalism and Patriotism mean different things.

At least to me:

Patriotism: the belief in the ideals of your country, in its people and its ability to strive towards that ideal state.

Nationalism: A strong identity tied to ones nation as it exists today (or in the past) at the exclusion of others or other thought

I agree with your definition, but I don't think the author is using "patriotism" literally this way.

Very cool! Am using it now and really like the sidebar chat that allows you to add context during a run.

I hit an error that was not recoverable. I'd love to see functionality to bring all that context over to a new thread, or otherwise force it to attempt to recover.

> Double texting: Most coding agents don’t support accepting new requests or feedback while they’re running.

This caught my eye too. Given they say 'most', what other tools that support this?

Can you explain what you mean by "not on ur machine as files get deleted on runtime to prevent privacy issues". I may be misunderstanding, but I'd personally want the files to by on my machine, and served to my agent locally instead of being a remote MCP server that I don't have control of

Currently, the open source repositories and documentation you index are stored in both a graph database as embeddings (similar to Cursor.com). Indexing itself happens by creating a temporary file, which is deleted afterward.

btw, I am working on allowing users to index their local files and fully store it locally! will update you on that

You can use mixed in tailwind. Its for consistency (which I quite like). I'm a big fan of just saying "gap-1" and knowing that that will be consistent across the custom components I've written, and the component library

I’ve been using the beta on both iPad and iPhone for the last couple days and I have to say I quite like it.

I find the interactions intuitive, and the rearrangement of the UI (placement of buttons and such) better than prior versions.

I was concerned about readability, but has not been an issue at all.

There are some awkward portions, but seems like something that can be worked out.

I just tested it out locally, really excellent quality, the server was easy to set up and well documented.

I'd love to get to real-time generation if that's in the pipeline? Would like to use it along with Home Assistant.

Looks like they will have a cloud offering, and mentioned in this post are on-prem and managed offerings

Was just looking into chunking strategies today, this looks great! Will update with any feedback.

Awesome! Keep us posted!
