I remember coming across a pg essay (via Google or Slashdot) a year or two ago then reading through a dozen more. That led to YC which lead to Jessica's book, Hackers News, and lots of hours learning web development (current career is in network architecture).

As another reference...

In Arizona it is $50 (LLC filing fee) + $35 (newspaper publication fee) and $0 annual recurring.

My home state, filled to the gills with republicans and centrist 'crats

Roboform (http://www.roboform.com/) sounds similar to some of the password managers here, but also does form filling. There's also a Robo2Go app that let's you tote your passwords on a USB drive.

The browser integration is really nice in that login fields can be prefilled as you visit different sites.

Also there's a password generator than can be customized for special characters, upper, lower, numbers, length, etc.

You can always do a country lookup from APNIC that will give you all of the IP's assigned to China (or any other country that regional registrar manages).

I wrote a script a while back that parses that list and creates an access-list for country blocking. Maybe I'll put it online one day.

At least that's how us network folk do it.
