This is probably just OpenCode nonsense. After prompting in "plan mode", the models will frequently ask you if you want to implement that, then if you don't switch into "build mode", it will waste five minutes trying but failing to "build" with equally nonsense behavior.

Honestly OpenCode is such a disappointment. Like their bewildering choice to enable random formatters by default; you couldn't come up with a better plan to sabotage models and send them into "I need to figure out what my change is to commit" brainrot loops.

Today I asked Claude to create me a squidward looking out the window meme and it started generating HTML & CSS to draw squidward in a style best described as "4 year old preschooler". Not quite it yet.

The issue for Claude is that Anthropic don't have an imagen that I know of, so the only tool available for the LLM to draw something is to start doing vector stuff in CSS, which is very hard for it (see the pelicans).

Gemini, ChatGPT or Grok would find this a lot easier as they could gen an image inline, although IP restrictions might bite you. Even Grok wants to lecture on IP these days, but at least it's fairly trivial to jailbreak.

You are missing a nuance. It is simply a separate offence (a misdemeanor) to not identify who was driving when the car was used to commit a violation.

But also traffic cameras here generally take frontal pictures, so typically the only way you can get away with claiming it wasn't you is if they are very lazy / not interested in investigating further.

They are a software vendor, and the theory goes all the software vendors will go away, because AI will just build your business software on the fly. So they are trying to "become AI"!

Also Oracle is owned by Larry Ellison and hes in a competition with the other tech bros.

Oracle is also OCI, oracle cloud initiative. My understanding/impression is that oracle is betting the company on its success.

Well, I'm sure they were when "cloud" was the latest buzzword in public company reporting. Now that its AI I'm sure the next quarterly will show massive (fabricated by reshuffling) growth in their AI initiative.

> because AI will just build your business software

No. AI will BE your business software

There is an express lane, it's reserved for the government appealing cases, in which any and all injunctions are halted because the court has unilaterally decided to interpret "not being able to do illegal shit" as "great harm" while there is no harm in sending people to torture prisons abroad on the flimsiest of evidence.

They sure took their time with this one.

I don't know about that, somehow Macron is still around. Who knows what he will come up with to extend his time while having zero support.

Macron is still around because France is a presidential regime and he can't be removed.

The DoD has been rather consistent that they will decide what to do with a product sold to them, not some random vendor. There is nothing extra to "price in".

The "extra" is that the government is now attempting to unilaterally renegotiate contracts, and if the contractor disagrees, not only do they terminate the agreement but they restrict how other companies can work with you.

Since Apple Intelligence is terrible and behind, I'm sure its gonna be just fine.

Got it removed from the kernel just in time

maybe thats what made him so upset

yeah if i had to speculate, it likely helped lead to this breaking moment
