a lock API in single threaded js vm. is a var true/false really too hard these days that we need an API?

having just one seems like it's not going to help much tbh. he needs a second why to teleport to. also not sure if concrete based gate will work... never tried that.

There's a second one in Austria. Some pictures of how the creator built it and his cat: https://a-b-m-m.jimdofree.com/galerie/stargate/ + archive since it's on some free webhost: https://web.archive.org/web/20230513101909/https://a-b-m-m.j...

banning won't help. kids today can easily bypass it. not to mention some apps have logged out experience. nice try but unrealistic

You’ll never be able to completely ban it, but you can probably make it hard enough to use that it will go back to a niche thing among kids the way internet forums were when I was in high school.

20 years ago I loved Firefox. tabs and extensions were amazing. today, it feels slow and uncomfortable to use. I tried too many times to like it again. for me Vivaldi today is what Firefox was 20 years ago.

would love to see it working without providing an email. no demo page?

people keep confusing work and personal time/space. personal opinions are personal and should be kept to your personal time. and before anyone answers, always think what if the person would support something you don't at a workplace you work as well. you would not feel comfortable and since its your workplace you can't avoid it either. we should respect everyone and keep it to our personal time and space.

Why is "I dress partially in traditional clothing, which management ok'd" an issue? Would you object to someone wearing a cross necklace, turban, yarmulka, niqab, kilt, durag, hijab, kente kufi hat, or other traditional garment at work? Why does a keffiyeh stand out to you?

did i say something stands out for me? show me where?

I'm talking about the argument of taking political or other stands in workplace that others in that same workplace might not feel comfortable with but cant go to another "direction" or ignore.

don't put words in my mouth that i did not say. feels pretty low level discussion when people do that.

The article says that someone was fired for wearing a keffiyeh. Your response is people shouldn't mix personal and work.

Your response is directly to an article saying a keffiyeh got someone fired, so it's absolutely reasonable to assume you are responding to the article and consider it an example of mixing personal and work.

it told me to eat glue so i ate glue -> good description of most of this worlds problems. people are just begging for attention and do dumb shit for it. so much text and headers for basically "look at me"

and how did you get to that conclusion? to me its odds are very much for technical failure and harah weather caused it to crash. much more logical

nonsense. EU law is meant for EU based users and not dev teams. dev team should be allowed to properly test for EU users and this is basically apple trying yet again block opening up ios. cant be more transparent

don't know about that, but just on Saturday hamas released video of israeli/british 51 year old kidnapped hostage alive in video and few hours later killed him and notified he is now dead.
