Manufacturing newer CPUs makes sense only if the device it's meant to replace is like 25 years old:

The analogy with the grid seems pretty good. The fab one seems bad tho.

They might be able to replace their F1 electric engine part for 2026 with a jet engine. it will prevent it from not working in the middle of the straight.
