Does your charger have 3 pins or 2? It could be a grounding issue (which has gone on forever). Or you have carpets and plastic shoes? You are the problem. It is not dangerous, just annoying to those who sense it.
Ah yes it is a 2 pin...ungrounded. Is there a way I can ground myself/and-or my laptop? I just had achilles tendon surgery so I can't really touch grass, so to speak proverbially (or literally?).
Intelligence has only a cursory relationship with academia. You cannot conclude that because Einstein wasn't (initially) an academic, that all academics are less worthy. Heck, my cleaner knows much more about household chemicals than I do, and I have a PhD in Chemistry.
I suspect that's a different issue, due to the 3G service being switched off (and those first models didn't support wifi as an alternative).
This issue affects a wider range of devices, and is software-related. I'd guess at it being either TLS related, or something to do with updates to their DRM system.
