Second coming of Christ. AMA.

Simply put, SuPragma is a tool that programmatically scans your organization with the goal of finding issues that can lead to problems or inconsistencies with culture health and style. Some issues can even be automatically fixed for you!

I tried to skim through to understand what it actually does, but this all seems rather abstract, and the memes make it seem slightly unhinged.

Do the platinum rule: Treat and teach others the way they want to be treated and taught.

...except that you can't know that ahead of time. Some people are unreasonably touchy, or even looking for an excuse to start a fight. I found one among my followers on Twitter the other day, using my positive reference to a group as an excuse to burnish his own Enlightened Person credentials. We can argue over whether they're few or many, but to deny they exist is to leave the realm of rational or productive discourse. The best we can do is make an estimate of how a reasonable person might want to be treated and taught, and that's what the OP is trying to address.

Make sure to use strong SSL certs, otherwise how do I know its your website? There better be a little green lock in the upper left corner of my browser ;)

Go is great, its open source. I wish Hacker News open sourced their code so that we knew what they are doing. Scared of having folks game the system? Why not have the community make it the best algorithm possible. Why keep pushing YC all the time? Do they not have enough already? Painters and hackers! ha!

It's not an abstract community, much less one with some FOSS mission statement or anything, it's a YC combinator site.

Facebook censors so much and swaps out links. I can't even post a link to https://scientificamerica.com. Their SSL cert is weak and should not be trusted. It is swapped out for phishing scams.

That URL is a typosquatting domain-parking site, so....

Facebook swaps out links to hide the referrer. It's for privacy.

I'm happy for the gay community. At least the Supreme Court is not fully corrupted.

I didn't know how corrupt YC was until now. How much is your soul worth?

I'll bite. What?
