I've noticed my bar for "fast" has gone down quite a bit since the o1 days. It used to be one of the main things I evaluated new models for, but I've almost completely swapped to caring more about correctness over speed.

Yeah I don't mind the current speed of Opus

I did give up on OpenCode Go (GLM 5) as it was noticeably slower though

You need a reasonable pace for the chit-chat stages of a task, I don't care if the execution then takes a while

Surprised the `satisfies` operator wasn't called out

How would that work? My understanding is that satisfies doesn’t change anythings type, it just provides an additional type validation check.

I believe satisfies will narrow the type const infers. It won't lose any information, so you can check it satisfies a broader type without stopping it being used as a narrower one, but it will narrow down the inference if given (but you can of course widen it back out with an explicit typing).

That doesn't cast or change compile time type right?

As someone who hasn't used any skills, I haven't noticed any degradation

I highly doubt Putin is concerned with the aesthetics of the White House

the man cheats in the olympics, he's exactly petty enough to care

Wait until you see what Axon is doing

I'd also like to second this and probably will in every Zed post. This is the primary reason I'm not ready to switch to Zed just yet.

GitHub seems to be down as a whole.

I think it's person to person, I've never had any stomach issues at all.

Also wish they would put more emphasis on autocompletions, that's like 99% of what I use AI for is basically a better Intellisense

Did you mean a better world than Keith?

Presumably Keith will outlast your children.

/whoosh/

yup
