These are not strong or well structured counter arguments. The first argument, for instance, reads as premature optimization via hiring practices.

I moved from Android to iOS last year and am excited to see many of the features I had mourned losing now available in iOS.

I can't speak for this website specifically but Cloudflare makes it pretty easy to geolocate users based on request headers.

This looks like a solid entry level hardware project for anyone interested in raspberry pi and e-ink technologies.

Browsing on mobile, I think it would provide a better user experience to open links in the same tab.

Yup, if I want a new tab I can middle-click, or long-click, or whatever.

At best this is just arrogance from the website developer thinking they know best.

It's personal preference. I can write it however I want and you can decide to use it or not.

Check out Climate Base (https://climatebase.org). It is a climate action oriented job board that spans a range of sub industries.

Hi there! I'm Jake, a software engineer just over 1 year of professional experience. I care deeply about people and the problems they need to solve, and learning how to build tools to solve those problems is what drives me. I come from a Mental Health background, and working with people to help guide themselves and the things they to so success is what I do. I'm looking for a remote software engineer position.

In my most recent role I worked on a distributed team to build an application that helps startups and investors connect. I worked across the stack, building a polished user interface with React before building out an Express API with asynchronous unit tests, configuring multipart form submissions with file uploads to S3, and configuring the authentication flow using Passport.js.

If your team needs a positive, multi-faceted person with excellent communication skills who can get things done, let’s have a zoom call! I know I can bring a ton of value to your team, and I’d love to learn all about what problems you’re looking to solve.
