Where does Aspirin fit into this? I only use paracetemol and ibuprofen. The one time I tried asprin I got a stomach pain.

aspirin is an NSAID, taking it modifies the prostaglandine levels (through its COX inhibition) and this influences the mucosa of your stomach. ibuprofen can still have the same side effects, because its belonging to the same class of drugs.

Would the (not Framework) .NET apps I work on benefit from this?

Any app using memory allocation functions would benefit from a newer heap implementation independently of a technology it's created with, unless it's actively constrained by compatibility burdens. In case of .NET, the memory layout compatibility is not something you usually care about unless the app loads old 3rd party .DLLs through P/Invoke. So for 99.9% of .NET (not Framework) apps, the segment heap should work just fine.

It's also the first time I've heard of cheese made of Horse milk which feels like the absurd sort of thing you'd get if you kept prompting AI to "find the rarest types of cheese".

Just watch out Hetzner don’t fail to take a payment from you from their end then proceed to flag your account for non-payment all while communicating absolutely nothing about this to you arriving at the conclusion they will delete all your servers and ban your account and identity from ever using them again.

Happened to me.

I now advise people to avoid clown-led services like Hetzner and stick to more reputable, if not as cheap, options.

Sounds like this is only for AI or something. Does it support normal usage or only """agents"""?

Probably the only even slightly relevant thread I’ll ever find for this so here goes. There is a certain visitor in the “Madrid Autonomous Community” (whatever that is) which frequently requests just my homepage, no other page on my site, over and over again.

It comes in waves, and it’s not enough to affect anything, but it’s very weird because when I did some digging by looking at the ASN there was actually only one active IP address and if I browse to it I get someone’s Synology NAS login page.

Why would someone setup their NAS to randomly keep pinging my homepage?

I seem to remember Microsoft Fine Artist having a lot of cool clip art you could print and fold into specific things

My problem with it was that it looked truly disgusting and I don’t say that lightly. They had essentially cloned the Reddit “new” theme that has the all too common obnoxious overuse of white space over content.

That's the very first thing which came to my mind too. I thought "wow, they really did copy Reddit design which I hate".

I don't care about the visuals of Reddit, but copying the design of "this is a site for commenting, answers are just top-level comments with no distinction" seemed like they did not see the difference between Stack Overflow and a subreddit.

I’ve absolutely seen adverts on TV in the UK by Microsoft advertising Microsoft Cloud. Azure was not mentioned anywhere…

Maybe that's because they don't want people who've never heard of Azure to just let it blend into the wide spectrum of cloud products whereas Microsoft is something almost everyone would recognize.

It would have been less controversial to place an ad somewhere at the top of the screen. Putting it in the Markdown feels like a very deliberate and antagonistic fuck you to everyone.
