Yeah I agree with this, finding balance between risk and productivity. Although doing something beautiful is the exception.

White papers are not peer reviewed so are faster. If your goal is speed, white paper. If your goal is ip or prestige or sharing knowledge, academic.

Great write up, I will likely upgrade my old air, was waiting for a fix to keyboard and other issues

Does this mean oil will continue do plummet bc of so much supply?

Same as Oracle, they're an excellent sales org with a commodity product.

I would invest a few days or weeks and write a detailed and precision spec. Then you can work with freelancers. The biggest risk is scope creep because it sours relationships quickly. If you invest the time to write a spec, there is far less risk. A spec is a narrative and a list of specific screens and functions. I have run a dev shop for 10 years and can help you with a spec if you're interested.

Wow what a great write up. I respect your engineering and writing skills.

That's called soft fraud.

I think many of these authors should be featured or retraction watch:

I have chosen to have a paper pulled when I was added as an author without my knowledge. (They had used some of my unpublished work.) These journals should do the same, establishing a minimum threshold of active contribution.

Buffalo is a undergoing a downtown Renaissance and has cheap real estate and a lot of technical talent being under utilized by banking Java applications. Come here you'll get great talent, great food, great culture, nys tax breaks, cheap real estate.

Here's the song with a fairly long interview preceding it . I'm not a huge fan of the sub genre but it's clear talent and skill
