That would have been an acceptable explanation in the 1950s or early 60s. But after 1964 one of the sides adopted the regional name as a national identifier, thus invalidating it as a neutral name.

The reason I uninstalled google maps is because it would open in a random place not related to me (I live in Europe and it opens in Tucson,AZ,USA).

AppleMaps is a great map and even better for guiding directions, but their servers are extremely slow so it is very annoying to browse.
