Itch?

A better interface to current search engines.

Itchy, so extremely itchy.

Implicit (or easier explicit) `AND`. Standarded option flags. Excellent (that’s the dream at least) option autocomplete.

Scratching away.

...also, using the existing excellent python tools to keep my iPod shuffles running with music and podcasts (auto delete and trim when played).

At that battery life, absolutely interested.

Prefer 8gb+, but but I can deal with 4.

Also would prefer a wider form factor, but I ain't gonna build one myself to get it.

That battery life is the appeal.

If it has (close to) full size keys, I want.

Please.

Any idea of;

1. Weight?

2. Thickness?

Weight can come in under 3 lbs. With some work, possibly right at 2. Battery is by far most of that.

Thickness won't be super thin as I'm targeting low-profile but still proper switch keyboards. Likely 3/4 of an inch. Perhaps scope to shave that in future.

Dokku uses docker.

Oh. Piku does _not_ use docker.

Neat.

I have seen it before and passed it over because presumed it did.

I will be taking a closer look.

Thank you.

I’ve been noodling with this sort of idea for years. Never got around to it.

Thanks for a simple starter. I will be modifying this for my needs at my leisure.

Great! I'm glad to hear this is helpful.

Pretty slick.

It extends the post[0] from a year-ish ago with read-only sqlite on a static server with a tiny backend that allows writes.

I am going to have to take a closer look at some point:

My nim implementation of phiresky's technique is here: https://github.com/ansiwave/wavecore/blob/master/src/wavecor...

Such a well written article/history.

I applaud the trend. Love it. More smart-type CLIish interfaces, please.

author here, thank you!

Emacs should also have been mentioned, because M-x is a simple command palette and it's there for 30-40 years or so.

Great point.

Sign me up.

The performance charts & graphs look nice. And (from Safari) I am excited to see what WebKit can do with extensions and other power features.

And, iPhone version.

Also:

1. The search engine (https://kagi.com/) is super cute (don’t have a login to try it).

2. Apparently this is what happened to the kagi.com (shareware payment) domain. Nice.

I tried the Speedometer 2.0 on my M1 Air in both Safari and Orion yesterday and got ~200 in Safari and ~250 in Orion. I have to do more runs, but if it's accurate it's pretty insane I think.

I was wondering if it was the same Kagi. Guess not.

Oh, I’ve been looking for this for a long time.

Ben Johnson (boltdb). Nice.

I’ve wanted to run SQLite in production. Lack of replication has scared me away.

Streaming backup for now. And live replication in the issues.

thanks, rusty

Just a note of feedback (I'm hiring a tech writer right now): there's no reason why I would request your resume from this info. I'm just going to move on. You gotta at least put /why/ I would ask for it if you're not going to publicly post it. What is your actual experience?
