this is not true, `kubectl debug` attaches to the namespace of a container of your choosing (`--target` argument). You don't have to enable process namespace sharing at the pod level
Last time I've checked, kubectl debug would not attach if namespace sharing wasn't enabled in the first place. Has it changed? What k8s version are you using?
PS. Even without checking again, it would be surprising if it changed. Even the official documentation is mentioning that this is needed
Yeah, I used to have a few "live wallpaper" type videos I'd use this way. Around the time AVC-ish algorithms were democratized by DivX. IIRC the player I used had #0000A0 as its overlay color... may have even been the DivX branded player.
...This is the oldest I've ever felt, unsure of my own memories regarding something I have to consult historical records about...
We have wayyyyy too many MLEs coming up with these "different" ideas, manipulate AB to show a whooping 1% improvement in (random engagement KPI), get a fat bonus check for the quarter, then rinse and repeat.

This is a welcome change but we can go even further: we should raise the bar for permanent immigration, but eliminate the intermediate steps in between (even green cards).
If you are exceptionally qualified you should just become a citizen (with the responsibilities and pledge of loyalty as a citizen). And we should fast track that for those who qualify (again, on a significantly higher bar)
No way. You need an immigration system that has a "try before you buy" aspect to it. Not all educated immigrates are going to like the US and are not going to be a fit for the US. It's not just about keeping out bad education, it's making sure that those who think they want to want to immigrate to the US want to be part of the US.
> If you are exceptionally qualified you should just become a citizen...
Exceptionally qualified at what, doing some job nobody else wants to do?
I suspect a big part of "US exceptionalism" is that people who were shitty at math were allowed to immigrate and they either saw a niche in the market or their kids were able to 'learn all the math' and contribute to the Silicon Valley Cesspool.
I live in a rather rural area in King county and we have packs of coyote that hunted down a deer one winter, and is generally weary of humans and dogs (the neighborhood has 2+ dog per household on average).
Then the past weekend we played a round of Golf at Newcastle and a pack of coyote pups pop up in broad daylight and one of them lied down to watch us tee off then left when we're done. It was very cute and we had to fight the urge to pet them like puppies
Funny you mentioned Mongolia. Republic of China (Taiwan) still recognize it as part of its territory (together with mainland China).
It is the communist that ceded a lot of territory to the Soviet Union and the puppet state of Mongolia to appease the USSR by having a buffer between it and china
But that's mainly due to how the PRC operates, right?
Like when the PRC threatened invasion when the UK wanted Hong Kong to elect its own leaders, then later they can turn around and say "the British never even let the Hong Kong people vote".
Some with Taiwan / R.O.C and it's territorial claims.
