If anybody wondering.

The last of us are going to know how dangerous this is

Non-profit means (in this case) payed by somebody who does not have anything to say about the transaction. It would be better to pay for it so that people who are interested in this subject have a say.

We should host it and collect membership fee from people who need this data. This way we can make it resilient against lack of government support. I would love to pay 5-10EUR/month to use such a service.

True. YAML is an intermediate representation between my intention expressed in Dhall and what runs in production.

I thought this is what happened during covid already. We wiped out a large number of small businesses.

Small businesses die and start all the time.

It's unsurprising that more of them would die during a massive recession and a global pandemic.

Those numbers are meaningless without a similar count of small businesses opening.

I gather you haven't started your own business, or did yours start and die repeatedly?

People die all the time, and every year, more people are dying than any prior year in history.

Without context for how many people are born every year, one might read that and conclude that we're about to all die out.

There is a super interesting port of ECharts to Rust: https://github.com/yuankunzhang/charming

Unfortunately many of the big data libraries are like that and there is no motivation to fix these things. One example is the ORC Java libraries that had 100s of unnecessary dependencies while at the same time importing the filesystem into the format itself.

I have these jumping spiders living in my apartment and my kids love them. They are natural part of life, harmless and quite fun. I was not even aware of these little animals but once I found one and started to go down the jumping spider rabbit hole, and after tha, bumm, jumping spiders everywhere. I have taken pictures of 4 species so far in my country, which a super difficult task. Anyways, jumping spiders <3.

These two has wikipedia links:

XML is the what OOP is for programming languages. Often overcomplicated, hard to follow, full of footguns.
