The pictures are not selling that well at all. Looks about 2min overcooked.

What maintenance? AppleCare also exists if you worry about such things.

I tried to record every day things with my action cam and I always feel like a weirdo with a box hanging off, I think these would help me not care about that as much,

Out of curiosity, for what purpose? Do you go back and watch your videos of everyday things? Share them with friends? With photography (and most visual media) the secret seems to be to take many many photos, or draw many many pictures, or shoot tons of video, and then curate and edit meticulously to find just the very best parts. Do you really get much value out of recording lots of day to day video? Is this part of some kind of art project?

At the surface they seem like I’m recording for my parents (we live very far from each other). Deep down I would like to get YouTube income eventually.

Just use your phone or a vid camera normally so that your subjects can understand that you are making a video of them. Sneakiness sucks.

I appreciate this article even if long. These are the details I want to see, not how many corner radiuses the new UI has

I simply have an NVIDIA card and I’m afraid of Hyprland because of that

Omarchy auto installs the nvidia drivers and fixes if it detects an nvidia card. https://github.com/basecamp/omarchy/pull/13

OP here. It's seamless whether you go the Omarchy route or CachyOS route. In fact, I have an RTX 4090 and have no issues whatsoever.

The pricing wave Waymo went through is interesting. After the limited access you’d often find them offering same or cheaper rides than Uber/Lyft. People tried them and realized they arrive without the whiplash you get from a start/stop Tesla uber in SF, no smells, no weird interactions. Every person we talked to prefers the Waymo even with its quirks and getting stuck sometimes. Now waymo is 3x uber every time I check it. I’ve gotten rides across the city for $6 on Uber, not sure what driver is making any money at that rate. Per hour you’re much better off working at In and out.

I think it's just demand driven pricing. Ever since they went GA in LA I see them doing pick-ups and drop-offs all the time from my windows.

My gf had a leaf when she met me and she couldn’t drive back home in one charge. Worked out great for me.

The fact that the range is so ass means you HAVE to charge to 100% every single time, and 80 to 100 takes ages. She’d spend 45min charging for 45min of driving.

10k for a camera in a car the size of a skittle? I’m glad you enjoy it but I can’t understand what I would need it for.

It is actually the largest car I've ever owned, and if it was up to me it'd be a few inches narrower in the very least. I prefer sub-compacts. As it is I miss my first car, I could squeeze in-between almost any 2 cars and be able to open my door and get out. A bit more clearance in the EUV would be nice, I definitely miss out on some spaces because of the extra width compared to my past cars.

The camera is super useful when parking in narrow spaces in those parking garages where each space is flanked by concrete pillar on both sides (why design it like that? Those pillars are covered in car paint...) or when parallel parking on a one lane road that has cars parked on both sides (always fun!).

There is actually one underground parking garage I have to use occasionally that has a hairpin turn to get out, and the wall is an interesting mish-mash of car paint colors. I've turned on the cameras for that curve as well, absolutely horrible garage and having a top down view really helps out.

Isn’t that ending soon?

Before accepting an answer I’ve started asking “is there a simpler more straight forward way of achieving that?” Ans most of the time it changes the whole thing it just wrote lol
