This is an interesting PR campaign by the Nova Scotia Tourism Bureau that has captured a lot of attention but doesn't quite work effectively. I give them points for trying, including the use Hacker News.

Why is this posted on HN? It's a link to a Twitter account.

Because entrepreneurs thrive amid a flexible, non-bureaucratic environment.

Not to be disrespectful but perhaps you shouldn't be using Hacker News to sell books.

It's free.

Actually, Flickr never raised money from U.S. VCs before they were purchased by Yahoo. If I've got my facts straight, they did some angel financing in Canada from investors such as Dick Hart.

To start, it's not a bad option but once a company gets some momentum, then they probably need to look for a "real" host.

Twitter has come a long way!

I've got an OpenID account but have rarely used it, probably because there are few places to actually use it.

With all due respect, this ain't a tech-related post so not sure why it's here.

I thought only people on TV said "with all due respect".

It's a workspace hack, interesting to anyone optimizing their device-filled desk space -- which is much of the YCHN audience, I suspect.
