You don't, it supports virtual keyboards. The pref touch-screen-display-keyboard helps making it accessible in every buffer.

I use a keyboard "Keyboard Designer" so I have a very accessible Meta, Ctrl and Shift keys and movement as well. I'm sure you can achieve something similar with others.

Not needed for MacOS, there is already pbcopy and pbpaste.

There are some differences: pbcopy copy data from stdin , `Clipboard` and `pickup` copy file to clipboard like right click copy.
