There must be some distinction since Sivers says announcing your goals makes you less likely to accomplish them.

He talks about it with Tim Ferriss in his podcast. That might add to the understanding.

That's all I got as to guessing why.

It's been awhile but their alleged fillers probably make it healthier than it would be otherwise.

My Mom's meatloaf also has other ingredients than beef. It's called 'cooking'.

I've had a couple Chik'n products and the beef crumble from Quorn and so far it's been the best substitute as far as flavor/texture combination. Making spaghetti with meat sauce was actually a little hard to tell the difference. I think the only turn off is that it barely seems to be made out of food.

Quorn tastes pretty good, though in my opinion it's over flavored and it doesn't taste like meat and doesn't have the texture of meat either. I'm sure most people would be able to taste the difference in a spaghetti bolognese. The thing is though, it doesn't have to be like meat, it just needs to taste good and have good texture.

I've had Beyond Meat chicken. The texture is close but not nearly as close as the article makes it out to be. Some of the flavors are good up front, but sometimes it tastes like something close to playdough.

I hope to find a job that will let me work this schedule some day. As long as those extra two hours were as if everyone else in the office had already left so I wouldn't be interrupted.

Look for remote (telecommute) jobs. Our (tiny) company is 100% remote, and people work whatever schedules they want (as long as they're around for an hour on Monday afternoons for a weekly meeting). The tradeoff is we have to try to be available to help out in our off hours if something urgent comes up, but that doesn't tend to happen often.

I'm 28 and I was relieved to read that things may be at their best at ages 40-60. I haven't done anything notable but I'm still learning every day so maybe it will click eventually. At the same time I'm trying to save like I might be unemployable in my 40s.

Maybe I'm missing something but this game didn't work at all for me in Firefox

What version of Firefox? The game works on every browser newer than IE8. As long as there is HTML5 Canvas it should work. That being said, Firefox does tend to have the worst performance of all of the major browsers.

Huh, seems to be working now. Maybe it was a poor connection.

This seemed pretty relaxing, although I think it'd be even better with an animated image or video clip

The ironic thing about calm.com is that it always seems to be nagging you to do stuff.... ><

the ironic thing about that site is that it's run by calm.com :)

Agreed. It would be even more efficient if the timer disappears.

This is my situation as well. I can't just decide to go take a nap, and when I do nap it's sort of spontaneous while I'm watching sports or reading a book. My wife on the other hand can pretty much just choose to go to sleep.

From personal experience, it helps to actually get to a point that you're physically exhausted in order to fall asleep easily. Exercise really helps!

This is one of the most interesting things I've ever seen.
