Didn't see the videos, but I want to thank you for your post.

I don't know if you "know" Django ORM or pyDAL... If use a database abstraction module you could extend your project easily to other databases.

Thanks for at least taking a look and replying =) I do know a bit of Django and will likely extend to other dbs, if there's a need. I originally connected to both HIVE and Greenplum databases because that's what I have at work. As a hobby, I just create postgres dbs on AWS so I mainly connect to those these days. Thanks for the tip.

Hi! Take a look at Wooey.

You should include a readme.md with an explanation of your project.

I use pybuilder to setup Python projects. With it, you can have unit testing, linting, packaging, costumized tasks, plugin, etc.

Second this.

Pybuilder do it for you!

I use a pile of book with the mobile phone on the top of them. For photos I use CamScanner free because it crops automatically the photo, auto contrast them and save multiple pages as a pdf.

A cookiecutter for this was a cherry in the top of a cake, but... Thank you!!!

The problem is that most companies/developers still aren't "Open API first"... So, people must build scrapers.

Great use of mitmproxy and data! Nice article!

Did you choose Lisbon for any particular reason?

I'm from Lisbon.

Lisbon is my 'home' since ~8 years. Since I know the place well I started there. But as suggested I would like to collect similar data for several (European) cities and compare the results. For example Lisbon has a very high tourists/locals ratio which can be a reason for the huge number of trips shorter than 1km.
