You have a typo in the second function.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh.....

EDIT: Thank you, and case closed.

Look at Awesome PHP: https://github.com/ziadoz/awesome-php

You are now probably going to get to learn about using composer to pull down PHP packages. (similar to node's npm)

Also, look at the PSRs for coding standards: http://www.php-fig.org/faq/

I would love to know if using emscripten will make memory usage more deterministic.

I posted an ad in the newspaper with a similar kind of experiment in mind. A dead marketing dude was daring me to do something crazy. What's the worst that can happen? (About midway through this: http://www.thegaryhalbertletter.com/Newsletters/aslz_winners...) You can read this first to see what he actually dared me to do.

The short version of what happened: my cellphone was ringing off the hooks and I had to just turn it off for a few weeks. Totally insane response.

Oyster.com, the Hotel Tell-All - NYC, New York - Full time, local

Oyster's expert hotel investigators visit hotel properties in-person, take every photo, and write objective reviews. We currently have over 3000+ hotels on our website and there a lot more to come! We've been on TV and have been written up by The New York Times. We are in partnership with the Travel Channel and have appeared on location with Hotel Impossible.

On the technical side, we are looking to fill the following roles: - Engineering Manager - Senior Software Engineer - Data Analyst

We largely use python and some C++ in the backend, with Postgresql being our db of choice. Have you checked out our beautiful iPad app? Apply here: http://www.oyster.com/about/jobs/

If you have any questions, feel free to email alfred at oyster dot com.

This reminds me of a certain high stakes rock-paper-scissors match... For future reference, use scissors against normal people: http://www.nytimes.com/2005/04/29/arts/design/29scis.html

According to Fez from That '70s Show, rock always wins!

Pretty shameless, but not a plug (as HN is clearly not the target market). Here's something I did the day after he public domained his articles: http://alfredpang.com/steve-pavlina-blog-collection/

how many have you sold?

I have sold 6 so far. I don't have any tracking but I believe they all came from my postings in Steve Pavlina's forums.

Somebody else did an iPhone app - which I am guessing is doing way better: http://www.stevepavlina.com/forums/technology-technical-skil...
