Definitely do not take this guy's photo advice. But DEFINITELY hire a pro and let them do their work. The existing photos on the site are a huge turnoff. It should cost you a few thousand dollars to hire a top notch photographer - their work will pay you back tenfold at a minimum though.

"Large sensor, low f number, go wide angle" means absolutely nothing...don't go to a photographer saying some shit like that.

What the OP suggested might not be the best approach (that'd be for the pro to decide when shooting) in terms of display photos, but making the claim that '"Large sensor, low f number, go wide angle" means absolutely nothing [to a photographer]' is patently false.

For real.

If this is "not economical" - I wanna know where you're getting your weed. :P

I feel ya - the struggle is real.

I regret dedicating my life to sitting behind a computer building things that don't exist and don't really matter to anyone - rather than making a real difference to real people in the real world. I also regret that that endeavor has severely limited my time spent with the people I love most, and exploring the world.

What would class as a real difference?

You are definitely not alone in that feeling...

Sounds like it's been a LONG time since you looked at ColdFusion - I encourage you to re-visit. A lot has changed since the late 90's...it's a great language, not a nightmare at all.

Google "CFML" - that should keep you busy for a while :)

This is definitely not a new language...it's been around since 1995. The website does not make it particularly clear that this is a CFML engine though haha.

Lucee Server has not been around since 1995. It is a newer open source engine that implements a backwards compatible version of CFML but with many improvements and modern flourishes. Our lack of CFML mention is on purpose due to the negative stigma of legacy apps. It's fair to say that the majority of people are not familiar with the modern iterations of CFML. It's changed so much since the old days, it might as well be a new language!

Thank you for the correction!

Because it's completely unrelated to Javascript...

It is not completely unrelated to JavaScript. CFScript is (based upon/implementation of) ECMAScript, which is in turn closely related to JS.

Touchè! haha

I love Lucee, long live CFML!
