Iran has a huge black market. Many things from refrigerator to small things are being smuggled to Iran, mostly from the mountains on Iraq border (also from Turkey border and from other Gulf countries. The government is not peaky about smuggling since Iran is under heavy sanctions and it's hard for the government to provide USD to legit traders on official channels.

It's a blackout! meaning "IP" doesn't work any more. IP aside, even cell network and landline barely work and people can not call each other or send a SMS!

I know IP and cell is down. Starlink works. Just suggesting.

Interesting data, but I’m not convinced AI is actually behind these job losses, there are some percentage jumps, but I didn’t see any hard data or analysis tying the layoffs directly to AI adoption, it feels more like correlation being dressed up as causation.

I actually tried to build a CSP interface on top of AsyncIO, It's still experimental an I haven't developed it for sometime but you know, It works.

https://github.com/Yaser-Amiri/one-ring/blob/main/docs/sampl...

As long as GIL exists with current conditions, we will not have a Go-like CSP, but that's about scheduling, not the CSP itself.

Well that's the thought: GIL-less Python is coming, at which point we can actually have something like this and it'll just work.

I use these as a stack: hledger + dab-dab + Surfingkeys

Basically all I need to do is: login in to the bank's web app and press Ctrl+Alt+P

I wrote a script which can take transactions from my banks webapp, gave it to dab-dab (https://github.com/Yaser-Amiri/dab-dab), added a key binding to Surfingkeys to extract the token and other related stuff from the cookies, send it to dab-dab to run the script, the script adds the transactions to the ledger files.

By the way I have some extra sugers in the script for resolving the destination/source of money to hledger's accounts and descriptions.
