There is currently a bill in the Texas house to ban transition for people of all ages.

Also, minors would receive hormone blockers - which are reversible and safe. ...and also still prescribed for cases such as precocious puberty.

> which are reversible and safe

Absolutely not true.

This is an open source analogue pocket.

> Every game card is playable, no matter how out of date the Switch is, without any internet connection.

This is mostly accurate, but not entirely afaict. I had to connect my switch to wifi in order to update the OS to play Xenoblade 3 (or Tears of the Kingdom? It's been a while).

Might be TOTK; I personally updated an offline Switch to use Sonic X Shadow Generations from the cartridge alone yesterday.

So, I'm very visibly queer and from the south. I have always been appreciative of gestures like this or in the parent comment - because it is not a safe thing there to assume that people would be accepting.

I don't think clothing is any more boring than computers or photography or painting or drawing or running or cooking or martial arts or reading or woodworking or cars or makeup or any other hobby. Which is not to say all of those interest me, but is to say any field is going to be interesting to some but not to all.

For my case, for most of my life I hated thinking about clothes, hated anything other than big hoodies/jeans/jackets, saw it as purely utilitarian. Eventually after some soul searching and realizations/some new medication, I have discovered that I quite like using my clothing to express myself, my mood, what I'm doing, and so on.

Fast fashion is very dumb though in my opinion. No reason to be wasteful and throw things away, but there's a middle space that can be very rewarding to explore - the first time I put on a skirt was quite literally life changing.

IMO the latest update is the best option. Or a syntax like (<original date>, updated <update date>) if the update was not super substantial.

Not only that, something which did work as a five minute gimmick! I remember playing the original "There is no game" on Kongregate back in high school.

Wow, thanks for that link.

I'm not, and never have been Catholic, but do have a complicated relationship with my own religion.

Seeing my own thoughts through a different lens was very interesting.

I've always seen CLI used for unix style utilities and TUI used for cursor-addressing/ncurses style interfaces fwiw.

> I don't see this as a problem; there's nothing stopping anybody you send anything to from taking a copy of it. You can't take emails or IMs back. It's just dumb.

I may trust someone personally, but not trust their ability to administer a system. This requires me to do both if I am sending information to somebody.

Same reason I don't give out my real phone number unless I know how someone handles their phone. Doesn't take any malicious intent to grant Contacts access to all kinds of malicious apps. Other peoples' computers have to be assumed hostile.
