That’s a gorgeous-looking camera. I am really happy to see Sigma still taking chances on their cameras. The FP is still one of my favorite cameras, it’s fun and really inspiring.

Looking forward to the BF.

Mostly tech-related musings: Project logs, music, electronics, plotters and art.

This could be really useful in healthtech, is it HIPAA compliant by any chance?

We aren't yet HIPAA compliant (yet), we recently got SOC2 compliance working with a compliance vendor to do more certifications. One thing is that with our on-prem agent your customer data never leaves your VPC.

The first two are “Imaginary” in the sense that the author made them up to show how the iconography works. The rest are real Aztec gods and are denoted with their actual names.

Do you have a source you can share for that? I’d love to read up on it. A cursory google search didn’t reveal much.

Maybe it's this? Peter Attia https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3oI104STzs especially from 8:45 when he talks of the people who stay thin (which is worse for them, if they actually are insulin resistant)

Blam, that's the podcast I was thinking about, but wow, great digging!

Unfortunately, no. It was a theory put forth by a researcher on a podcast.

It makes complete sense to me, but I don't know how you'd even design an experiment for this. Maybe continues glucose monitoring along with identical diets for people of various body fat percentages?

We were using Node.js for pretty much all critical services at Azlo; It worked really well. Other than switching from Javascript to Typescript I don't think switching was ever considered. At this point Node is a well established platform and with a huge ecosystem that's easy to leverage.

I have a Mikrotik Audience I can wholeheartedly recommend. The performance is great, it had a great price and doesn’t look half bad. The UI is very much “pro” in the sense that you get all the options you might ever want to play with which for 90% of the time is just too much.

The wiki is good and the community is really friendly. If you have networking experience or want to something to tinker with it’s a nice deal. If you want something you can set and forget I’d look elsewhere though as the UI is not friendly at all.

These I find humorous.

If only they had "RUB" or "RUBOUT" written on them like the old timey keyboards did.

It's available in the test calls section: https://developer.marvel.com/docs

OwnCloud (https://owncloud.org) does a pretty ok job for self-hosted file syncing.
